The S.L. Perry Award is presented as conditions warrant, but not more often than annually, in recognition of Leadership and Distinguished Service to the Conference over a period of several years. The purpose is to recognize outstanding contributions of time and effort and to encourage and inspire others to likewise serve the public good and the Conference.

The Leo V. Bankston Award is presented not more than annually to a current or past member of the Conference in recognition of "Outstanding effort toward reaching the ideals and goals of the Conference". This award is the "Chair's Award" and selection is made by the Conference Chair.

The 25 Year Membership Award is presented in recognition of twenty five years of membership in the Louisiana Conference. Its purpose is to recognize members who have faithfully supported and contributed to the water and sewerage field over a twenty five year period and to encourage others to similar continuous interest and service to the Conference and the industry.

The George H. West Memorial Award is awarded not more than annually to a man with at least fifteen (15) years of experience in the water/wastewater field and has demonstrated ability and leadership in Conference activities. Nominations for this award must be submitted to the awards committee with endorsements of at least three (3) current officers or board members.
